Former NFL and Pro Bowl cornerback Vontae Davis was arrested for suspected DUI after causing a crash in Florida this past weekend.

In a post by TMZ Sports, Davis was seen on video talking with an officer after crashing his Tesla to another car. Upon arrival, police officers noticed that Davis was dozing in and out of consciousness with either alcohol or drugs in his system.

He was held on a $500 bond, and is pending charges of DUI: alcohol or drugs – first offense.

As a former first-round draft pick out of Illinois, Davis played 10 seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Buffalo Bills. He was also a two-time Pro Bowler with the Colts.

Along with one touchdown in his career, his most notable moment came in the 2018 season where after playing just one game, retired at halftime during a game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

He would never play in the NFL again.
