We have some sad news to post around the NFL realm as former Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears running back Marion Barber III has passed away Wednesday afternoon, just nine days shy of his 39th birthday.
Per team beat writer Clarence Hill Jr, Barber was found dead in his apartment by Frisco, Texas police. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Barber played in the NFL for seven seasons, being in Dallas for six of them. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2007 after rushing for 957 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Marion finished his career with 4,780 yards, over 1,100 receiving yards and 53 total touchdowns.
