Controversial Republican candidate Laura Loomer has won the 21st Congressional District’s Republican primary and is now poised to battle incumbent Congressperson Lois Frankel come November. Loomer, best known for being the subject of my recent column, “Would You Hate Fuck Laura Loomer” is a polarizing figure in politics. Nevertheless, she dominated the Republican primary, capturing 42.5% of the primary vote compared to runner-up Christian Acosta, who pulled in 25.5% if the vote.

WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump tweeted his congratulations:

The Palm Beach Post: reported Loomer was surrounded by some controversial figures including longtime political trickster Roger Stone:

Lois Frankel doesn’t know it yet, but she is going to get Laura Loomered,” said Stone, who just had a prison sentence commuted by President Trump. Stone called Loomer the “Joan of Arc of the conservative movement.”

Loomer vowed to win the race in November, despite competing in a heavily Democratic seat — Democrats outnumber Republicans by 40% — occupied by a well-known incumbent.

“I’m going to need all of you to win in November,” she told the crowd at the party.

Would you hate-fuck Laura Loomer?

Loomer, no stranger to controversy, worked with Project Veritas, continuing her work as a conservative activist after leaving the organization. She has been criticized for outrageous behavior including a time when she launched a Twitter tirade in 2017. NBC News reported the following on the incident:

Loomer launched into an anti-Muslim rant on Twitter Wednesday, calling for a new ride sharing company to be created that didn’t employ Muslims, after it was revealed that Sayfullo Saipov, the suspect in the New York terror attack, was a former Uber driver.

“Someone needs to create a non Islamic form of Uber or Lyft because I never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver,” Loomer tweeted, tagging both companies in the post.

According to the Post, Loomer is persona non grata in social media:

The self-described “Most Banned Woman on the Planet” has been permanently barred from sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Uber, Lyft, Paypal and Venmo, accused of using hate speech and being non-compliant with site rules.

Loomer also blasted tech giants that banned her from social media. Then she noted that Trump on Tuesday pardoned suffragette Susan B. Anthony on the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote.

“Which proves what I have always believed, that well behaved women never make history,” she said.

Here are the results of my recent poll, “Would You Hate-Fuck Laura Loomer”

Now the question is whether those in the 21st Congressional District will vote for Laura Loomer. History has shown that anything can happen in politics so you can be certain the GOP and Democratic Party will be following this race closely.
