Malik Willis, viewed as the consensus number one QB in the 2022 NFL draft is FINALLY off the board and has been selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 86th overall pick in the 3rd round.

Malik was projected to go somewhere in the first round, with many people projecting teams like the Panthers, Seahawks, Saints, and Steelers to all be vying for the highlight reel QB out of Liberty. Kenny Pickett (Steelers) and Desmond Ridder (Falcons) were both taken ahead of Willis and the Liberty QB continued to slide down the board. This is by far the worst QB class in recent memory but Malik has a high ceiling.

Willis has an absolute cannon for an arm and is an electric runner with the ball in his hands. The athleticism is off the charts, but he struggles at times with inaccuracy and poor decision making. Regardless, Willis is a high upside prospect who will be able to sit at least a year behind QB Ryan Tannehill and improve his game before taking over for a solid Titans squad.

The Titans traded away star WR AJ Brown to the Eagles and then took another high upside player in Arkansas WR Treylon Burks with their first round pick last night. Grabbing Malik at pick 86 in the 3rd round tonight though is incredible value. Why the hell not grab him in the 3rd round? Could be a steal.
