San Diego Padres superstar shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. heads back to the IL yet again. This time it is not with an injury necessarily but with COVID-19.

Because of health and safety protocols the Padres slugger will be away for at least two weeks or until he can have two consecutive negative test or whichever comes first. That is a big blow to San Diego because he Tatis has already missed sufficient time with an injury previously this year. We will have to see how they will respond and bounce back.

Hopefully he will be back as soon as he can because baseball needs one of its faces back.
