The Atlanta Falcons are signing former Cincinnati Bengals safety Jessie Bates to a four-year, $64.02 million deal that includes $23 million in year one and $36 million in first two years of the deal, per Adam Schefter.
The 27 year-old Bates is now the fourth highest-paid safety in NFL history. He was a second round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018.
In 2022, Bates recorded four interceptions and has 14 total over his five-year NFL career.
