Eagles WR A.J. Brown Gives Update Of Status For NFC Championship Game

Philadelphia Eagles star WR A.J. Brown gave an update on his status for the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon.

“I’m good to go,” he said, according to Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.

Brown injured his left hip in Saturday’s 38-7 win over the New York Giants in the divisional round. Brown told the Eagles training and coaching staffs that he’ll be fine moving forwards, per McLane.

Brown did not have a big game in the blowout win over the Giants with 3 catches for 22 yards on six targets. He played 51 of 69 snaps on offense on the night.

Fellow WR DeVonta Smith led the team in targets and receiving, with six catches on ten targets for 61 yards and a touchdown. TE Dallas Goedert caught all five of his targets for 58 yards and a spectacular touchdown grab of his own in the win.

The Eagles will need more from him against a tough 49ers defense on Sunday. They are looking to advance to their second Super Bowl in six seasons.
