Eagles Worked Out A Punter

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out former Oregon State punter Luke Loecher, as per Aaron Wilson.

The Eagles do not have a punter on the active roster. The first two weeks of the season Arryn Siposs was elevated from the practice squad on game day. After two games, Siposs was released.

Braden Mann was signed to the Eagles practice squad on September 18, 2023. He was elevated to the game day roster for the Monday Night game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mann punted one time for 32 yards in the Eagles 25-11 victory. The Eagles punting situation has been fluid through the first three weeks of the season.

Loecher took over punting duties at Oregon State midway through the 2020 season. As a junior, Loecher set an Oregon State record with a punting average of 47.1 yards per kick.

Loecher earned all-conference honorable mention honors last season after averaging 46.2 yards on 36 punts but went undrafted.
