The Philadelphia Eagles squeeze out close victory over the Arizona Cardinals and are now 5-0.

The Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 first-half lead, but the Cardinals rallied back to even the score at 17 with 9:43 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts led the team on a 17 play, 70-yard drive that resulted in a go-ahead field goal late in the fourth quarter. Arizona had one last chance and had a promising final drive underway. However, it ended with a missed game-tying field goal attempt by kicker Matt Ammendola that went wide right.

Hurts ran 61 yards and two touchdowns. He completed 26 of 36 passes for 239 yards. Hurts is continuing to have a MVP-caliber season.

The Eagles offensive line, already without LT Jordan Mailata, who was ruled out on Saturday with a shoulder injury, LG Landon Dickerson was in and out as he dealt with a lower left leg injury. Then, with just under five minutes to go in the second quarter, C Jason Kelce limped off, though he returned to start the third quarter.

The Eagles defense was led by safety C.J. Gardner, who had 10 tackles and a interception. LB Haason Reddick had the only sack for the Eagles.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray made a huge gaffe on their final drive. He slid a yard short of a first down and on third-and-one, he spiked the ball. That error forced Head Coach Kingsbury to send kicker Matt Ammendola onto the field he missed.

The 5-0 Eagles will host the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys at the Linc on Sunday Night Football.
