Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson “is not going anywhere.” The Eagles will franchise tag him if they can’t get a deal done, per Adam Caplan.

Gardner-Johnson is a valuable asset to the Eagles defense. He has proved, that he can play both slot corner and safety at a high level since being acquired from the Saints in August.

Despite missing time due to a lacerated kidney, Gardner-Johnson recorded a career-high 67 tackles, including five for loss, while also being tied for the league lead in interceptions with six.
