The Philadelphia Eagles are trading Edge-Rusher Haason Reddick to the New York Jets for a conditional 2026 third-round pick that could be a second, as per Adam Schefter.

The 2026 pick becomes a 2nd if Reddick has 67.5% playtime this season and has 10 or more sacks. Reddick is expected to receive a new contract with the Jets.

The Eagles gave Reddick permission to start seeking a trade away back in February. He posted 27 sacks in two seasons with the Eagles.

The 29 year-old Reddick had 11 sacks in 17 games last season. The Eagles signed Edge-Rusher Bryce Huff away from the Jets on Day 1 of free agency.

With Reddick gone, the Eagles are relying on 2023 first-round pick Nolan Smith to step up this year.
