Eagles To Host Huge Defensive Tackle On Pre-Draft Visit

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles first known visit leading up to this year’s draft is Western Kentucky defensive tackle Brodric Martin, as per Ryan Fowler from The Draft Network.

Martin is a big man. He checks in at 6’5”, 330 pounds. Those numbers are close Jordan Davis’s listed measurements of 6’6”, 336 pounds.

In his two years at Western Kentucky, he logged six tackles for loss, four sacks, and one forced fumble over 26 games played.

Martin began his career at North Alabama before transferring to Western Kentucky.

The Eagles like to rotate their defensive linemen. Currently Jordan Davis and Milton Williams are the only two defensive tackles, that are locks to be on the 2023 roster.

Martin has the tools to be a reliable two-down run defender that can eat up space and blocks. He doesn’t have much pass-rush potential.

The big defensive tackle is projected to be a 6th round draft pick.
