Eagles Tight End Signed Off Practice Squad By The Seahawks

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Seattle Seahawks signed TE Brady Russell off the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, as per Dave Zangaro

The signed Russell as an undrafted rookie this past offseason. He had 5 catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in the preseason.

Russell was waived on August 29, 2023 by the Eagles and then re-signed to the practice squad. He played college football at the University of Colorado.

To fill Russell’s spot, the Eagles have brought back OLB Kyron Johnson. He played in 16 games for the Eagles last season, mostly on special teams.

Johnson was a sixth-round pick out of Kansas last year. The Eagles released him at the final cuts this summer. He was signed to the practice squad, but was then released a few days later.
