The Philadelphia Eagles have given star pass rusher Haason Reddick permission to seek a trade, as per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Reddick has led the Eagles the last two seasons. He joined the Eagles prior to the 2022 season and has been a Pro Bowler in both seasons.
In 2022, the Eagles were the NFC Champions and went on to the Super Bowl. Reddick was tie with Browns DE Myles Garrett for second-most in the NFL with 16 sacks.
Reddick finished with 11 sacks in 2023. He is set to make $14.25 million in base salary and count $21.88 million against the cap in 2024.
The Eagles may be counting on 2023 first-round draft pick Nolan Smith to replace Reddick. He played sparingly during his rookie season, contributing 1 sack and 3 QB Hits.
