Eagles star AJ Brown trolls Titans on lack of passing attack

Philadelphia Eagles WR AJ Brown is had a blast on Twitter Sunday night at the expense of his former team, the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans played the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday Night and the Tennessee passing attack struggled mightily all game.

No Titans WR had even recorded a catch in the entire game. Tennessee RB Derrick Henry was virtually everything the Titans had on offense, with rookie QB Malik Willis looking like deer in headlights all game.

Eagles WR AJ Brown rubbed salt into the wound of the ineffective Titans passing game.

Brown used to be the top WR for the Titans with whom he played his first three seasons in the NFL. He was traded by the Titans to the Eagles back in April for a couple of draft picks, one of which was used by the Titans to select WR Treylon Burks in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Titans WRs Robert Woods, Chris Conley, Cody Hollister, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine were all targeted by Willis, but none of those passes got successfully completed.

At one point in the game, the NBC broadcast showed a graphic that Brown has 43 catches for 718 on the season, as the Titans top two WRs Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine have combined for 51 catches for 658 yards.

Brown has proved to be the difference-maker for the Eagles this season. He has helped the team to an 8-0 start after Thursday night’s win over the Houston Texans. He had four catches for 59 yards and a touchdown in the 29-17 win.

The undefeated Eagles are third in the league in scoring offense with 28.1 points per game and 10th overall with 242.3 passing yards per game.
