Eagles Sign Slot CB Bradley Roby

Written by Tony Ghaul

Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran CB Bradley Roby, as per NFL Network’s James Palmer.

Eagles signed Roby for much needed depth to their depleted secondary. He could fill the major need at slot CB. Avonte Maddox, who manned that position, is out with a torn pectoral muscle.

By moving Roby to the slot, the Eagles can move All-Pro James Bradberry back to his outside spot.

Roby was a first-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2014. He spent the last two seasons with the New Orleans Saints.

On August 29, 2023, Roby was released by the Saints. For his career, Roby has 11 interceptions and has started 50 of the 113 games that he’s played in.
