Eagles Sign Former Teammate Of Jalen Hurts

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve signed former XFL and Carolina Panthers WR Charleston Rambo.

Rambo played three years with the Oklahoma Sooners before playing his final collegiate season with the Miami Hurricanes in 2021.

Before he transferred, Rambo played with Jalen Hurts during his only season at Oklahoma in 2019. Rambo played alongside Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb.

Rambo proved to be one of Hurts’ favorite targets, as he was second on the team in catches (43), receiving yards (743) and receiving touchdowns (five).

Rambo will look to compete for a roster spot on the Eagles. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers last year.

The Panthers waived him before the start of the season. He played with the Orlando Guardians in the XFL this past season.

This past season with the Guardians, Rambo had 35 catches for 430 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games.
