The Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent safety Terrell Edmunds to a one-year contract.
The 26-year-old Edmunds was a first-round pick of the Steelers in 2018. Pittsburgh didn’t pick up his fifth-year option but did sign him to a one-year contract last year.
For his career, Edmunds has five interceptions, 26 passes defensed, 410 tackles and five sacks.
Edmunds is coming in to replace C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who signed with the Lions in free agency. This agreement comes days after the Eagles signed safety Justin Evans.
