The Philadelphia Eagles signed for Alabama offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher to their practice squad, as announced by the team.

Pierschbacher will the vacancy created when the Washington Commanders signed Julian Good-Jones last week.

Pierschbacher was a fifth-round selection of the Washington Redskins in the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama.

This is Pierschbacher’s second stint with the Eagles. He was signed off Washington’s practice squad in December of 2020. Pierschbacher has also played for the New York Jets and Detroit Lions.

Eagles offensive-line coach Jeff Stoutland recruited Pierschbacher to Alabama when he held that position with the Crimson Tide.

Pierschbacher was four-year starter at Alabama. He earned first-team All-SEC recognition in 2017 while playing left guard and 2018 while playing center.
