The Philadelphia Eagles have a meeting scheduled with Clemson star LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at the NFL Combine, as per Jake Rabadi of The Liberty Line.

The Clemson star is the son of former Eagles great Jeremiah Trotter Sr., who played played for them three different times during his NFL career (1998-2001, 2004-2006 and 2009).

Trotter Jr. had 88 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, seven passes defended, two interceptions, and a defensive touchdown in 2023.

The Eagles need to add LBs this offseason. Nakobe Dean has been injury prone and not lived up to expectations so far.

The Eagles have not prioritized the LB position, but it’s time that they do. It was a big weakness on the defense last season.

Trotter Jr. is projected to be a Day 2 or Day 3 selection in this year’s NFL draft. It would be great to have another Trotter at LB for the Eagles.
