Eagles Rumored As Landing Spot For Four-Time Pro Bowl Running Back

The Philadelphia Eagles are rumored to be one of the teams to make a move for Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook amid trade rumors ahead of next season.

Eagles starting RB Mile Sanders and his backup Boston Scott are free agents. They were already looking to upgrade its backfield before last year’s trade deadline, having made inquiries over Alvin Kamara and Christian McCaffrey.

Cook is coming off an underwhelming season. He rushed for 1,173 yards in 2022, sixth most in the NFL, and was named to his fourth Pro Bowl as an injury replacement.

The Vikings are over the salary cap and, given that Cook is carrying a cap hit of $14 million, rumors of a possible trade have been swirling since the end of the season.

The Vikings could possibly require a draft pick anywhere from the 3rd to 5th round in return for Cook.
