The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they have released veteran TE C.J. Uzomah and signed offensive lineman Jason Poe.
The Eagles signed Uzomah signed to a one-year deal on April 11, after he was released by the New York Jets in March.
Uzomah was a fifth round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015. He played in the Bengals Super Bowl LVI loss to the Rams and had 2 catches for 11yards in the game.
Poe was signed as a undrafted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. He was waived by the Eagles back on August 5 and now returns back to the roster.
