Philadelphia Eagles RB Rashaad Penny will be a healthy scratch today against the New England Patriots, as per Olivia Reiner & JCT Sports.
Earlier in the week, the Eagles listed all four running backs on the active roster at the top of the depth chart at the position.
This means that D’Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott will be the Eagles active running backs for today’s game.
Penny was signed as a free agent by the Eagles back in March. The Eagles made a draft day for D’Andre Swift and re-signed Boston Scott which made the RB position deeper.
Penny has 1,918 yards for a 5.7 average and 13 rushing touchdowns for his career. He played for the Seattle Seahawks from 2018-2022.
