Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September. Hurts has led the Eagles to three straight wins to start the season.

Hurts has put up career-high performances, exemplifying his commitment to improvement as in his second year as a full-time starter. He’s been a deep-ball threat to opposing teams. Hurts has a QB rating of 123.1 on passes 10+ yards in the air, good for first in the NFC. He has used his legs, when he doesn’t have an open receiver and they have carried him to a total of 167 rushing yards for three touchdowns. Hurts is one of just two NFL QB’s with 1,000+ total yards through Week 3. He’s the only QB in the NFC with those stats.

Hurts has completed 66 of 98 passes for 916 yards with 4 touchdown passes and 1 interception. He has a completion ratio of 67.3%. This has been a remarkable first month of the season for the Eagles QB.
