Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie confirmed to reporters today that their Kelly Green jerseys and helmets will be brought back at some point next season.
Jeffery Lurie:
“This is the season we will re-introduce the Classic Kelly Green and I’m super excited about it.”
The announcement came from Jeffrey Lurie at the NFL owners meetings. They could have worn Kelly green jerseys, but because the one-color helmet rule was in effect, they would still have to wear their midnight green helmets, and Kelly green jerseys with midnight green helmets would not have looked right.
