Eagles offensive lineman Cam Jurgens worked with the first team offense back at his right guard position for yesterday’s practice, as per Eagles beat writers.
Jurgens has missed the last five games with a foot injury. He is currently still on IR, but the Eagles opened his 21-day practice window before the bye week and the second-year player is eligible to return at any time.
Jurgens appears to be trending toward starting at RG on Monday night against the Chiefs. He should offer an immediate upgrade to the offensive line.
Sua Opeta started the first four games that Jurgens missed at right guard and rookie Tyler Steen started the game against the Cowboys in that spot.
