Noah Togiai is having a great training camp. The third year tight end played well in the Eagles preseason opener. He caught 4 passes 29 yards.
The Eagles have a star tight end in Dallas Goedert and Jack Stoll is locked into a blocking tight end role, but a third tight end spot is open. Grant Calcaterra a sixth round draft pick was expected to fill that spot, but has been out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.
Togiai has been taking advantage of his opportunity. By all accounts, he has been standing out during training camp with his pass catching ability and has been shining on special teams. It appears that he has a great shot to make the final roster.
