The Philadelphia Eagles are the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team and they are led by QB Jalen Hurts.
Hurts is in his third NFL season and he is a star in the making. He has has improved in each of his three NFL seasons and the Eagles have as well over the last two. It began last year when they finished the regular season at 9-8 and sneaked into the playoffs. And now they’ve long been the last undefeated team standing and are off to a franchise-best start.

Hurts has thrown eight touchdowns over his last three games with multiple TD passes in each of them. He is the unquestioned leader of one of the NFL’s elite teams.
When the Philadelphia Eagles first made the decision to draft Jalen Hurts 53rd overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, many people were shocked at the selection. The Eagles had just signed starting QB Carson Wentz a 4-year, $128 million dollar extension. Three years later, Carson Wentz is now on his third team and Jalen Hurts is making Howie Roseman look like a genius.

The 2022 season has seen Jalen Hurts take that next step and become an MVP-caliber player. Throughout these first eight games of the season, Jalen has completed 68% of his passes for 2,042 yards and 12 passing touchdowns. He has 326 yards rushing and 6 more touchdowns on the ground. Hurts has only thrown two interceptions; and is one of only six quarterbacks to lead his team to an 8-0 record while having three or less turnovers in those first eight games.
Not only is Hurts the franchise quarterback of the Eagles, he’s on the verse of getting paid like one over the next few months.
