Philadelphia Eagles RG Cam Jurgens suffered a foot sprain in the 34-31 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday and could miss several weeks, as per Jeff McLane.
An MRI on Monday revealed that Jurgens suffered a foot sprain that could cause him to miss several weeks.
When Jurgens left the game, Sua Opeta came in to replace him at right guard. Opeta is a fifth year pro, who can fill in while Jurgens is out.
The Eagles could also turn to rookie Tyler Steen. Steen was a third round pick in this year’s draft out of Alabama.
Opeta is the most viable option, as he has experience. He received a lot of praise from the coaches and players for his performance on Sunday.
Jurgens was drafted to be the future starter at center, but with return of future Hall-of-Famer Jason Kelce and the opening at right guard, he was moved to that spot.
