The Philadelphia Eagles fans are heading to FedEx Field for Sunday’s 1pm matchup against the Washington Commanders. Philadelphia’s 94.1 WIP station has reported that their will at least 15 busloads of Eagles fans heading to game the on Sunday.

This will be the first time that ex-Eagle QB Carson Wentz, who’s currently the Commanders QB, will face against his former team. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts will get to face the player that he’s replaced.

This is a big early season NFC East matchup with the undefeated Eagles taking on the (1-1) Commanders.

Wentz forced his way out of Philadelphia and has burned many bridges on his way out. Stories have leaked that he wasn’t a great teammate and that he was not a happy camper during the Eagles Super Bowl run, when he was out with a season ending knee injury. Nick Foles lead the Eagles through the playoffs and had a great Super Bowl. Foles named Super Bowl MVP. Wentz was a key reason that the Eagles 2017 season was a success and they would have never had the Super Bowl title without him. He had the Eagles at a 11-2 record before he got hurt, but he should have been happy and supportive of his teammates.

Eagles fans may make up as much as 30 or 40% of the crowd on Sunday, and it will be a raucous crowd. I look for Eagles QB Jalen Hurts to continue his great start to the season on Sunday and for him to outduel Wentz.
