The Eagles signing of James Bradberry in the off-season to pair with Darius Slay gives them potentially the best CB duo in the NFL. Together, they have five Pro-Bowl appearances between them. Slay was acquired via a trade with the Detroit Lions in 2020.
By all accounts, Slay and Bradberry are complete opposites in personality and style of play. Slay is the talkative one and Bradberry the quiet one. Slay is better in man to man and Bradberry is better in zone coverage. Despite this, they have become very close. It seems that their opposite personalities mesh well. One thing that both of them have is work ethic. They are both committed to getting better and improving. Hopefully, this duo helps propel this defense.
