The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Buffalo Bills 37-34 in overtime and are now 10-1 on the season.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts put on another MVP performance with 5 total touchdowns, which included a 12 yard rushing touchdown that sealed the win.
Hurts completed 18of 31 passes for 200 yards with 3 touchdown passes and ran 14 times for 65 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He was spectacular on the game winning drive in overtime.
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith had a big day and made some clutch catches. He caught 7 passes for 106 yards. Smith, A.J. Brown and Olamide Zaccheaus all had touchdown catches.
D’Andre Swift had some big runs in the second half and a huge run on the final drive in overtime. Swift had 14 carries for 80 yards in the game.
Eagles kicker Jake Elliott made a clutch 59-yard field goal at the end of the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.
The Eagles defense played a tough and resilient game against a high powered Bills offense led by QB Josh Allen. He finished the day with 339 passing yards and 81 rushing yards.
The Eagles defense was decimated by injuries during the game. Young DTs Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter led the defensive front.
Brandon Graham had a big sack on the day that he set the franchise record for games played. James Bradberry had a big interception on a Josh Allen pass.
For the second straight game, the Eagles entered halftime trailing 17-7 and came back in the second half took home the win
The Eagles have a big game next week as the San Francisco 49ers come to Philadelphia for a rematch of last year’s NFC championship game.
