The Philadelphia Eagles traded back on day 2 of the NFL draft. They acquired picks 65, 188, and 230 in exchange for pick 62 in a trade with the Houston Texans.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman selected Alabama offensive tackle Tyler Stern. He is a 6’6, 321 lbs athletic tackle that thrives as a run blocker.

Stern started 13 games for Alabama last year and was named to the All-SEC second team. He’s a versatile and athletic lineman who can play both tackle and guard spots.
The Eagles selected Illinois safety Sydney Brown with their next pick. He’s a ball-hawking safety who had 6 picks in 2022.

Brown is an aggressive and highly instinctive safety. His skillset should compliment Reed Blankenship.
Brown is a talented prospect who can develop alongside Reed Blankenship and give the Eagles a good young safety tandem.
