The Monday matchup of the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs drew over 29 million viewers and was the most-watched Monday Night Football game in 27 years.
The game was a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl game. The Eagles-Chiefs game was also the most-watched Monday Night Football game since ESPN started broadcasting them.
Last night’s game lived up to the hype. Coming into the game the Eagles had a NFL best 8-1 record and the Chiefs came in with a record of 7-2.
The Eagles overcame a 10 point deficit on the road to defeat the Chiefs 21-17. The defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles improved to a NFL best 9-1 record.
The game also featured to of top QBs in the NFL. The Eagles Jalen Hurts and the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes.
The Eagles are also part of the second highest most watched NFL game this season. Their week matchup against the Dallas Cowboys drew 27.1 million viewers. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 28-23.
