Philadelphia Eagles slot cornerback Avonte Maddox could miss the remainder of the season with a torn pec. He took to Instagram today to post an emotional message.

Maddox left Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in the second quarter with what is now being reported as a torn pec.

The 27 year-old Maddox has struggled with injuries over the last few years. He has played more than 13 games just one time in his NFL career.

Last season, Maddox had 43 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, three passes defended and one interception. He missed eight regular season games and one playoff game as he dealt with three different injuries during 2022.

The Eagles selected Maddox in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft. He has played six seasons. For his career, Maddox has 188 solo tackles, 58 assists, 3.0 sacks, one fumble recovery, and four interceptions.
