The Philadelphia Eagles are safety Kevin Byard, clearing over $13M in salary cap space, as per Adam Schefter.

Byard started 10 games during his time with the Eagles after coming over before the trade deadline this past season.

The Eagles acquired Byard in a trade with the Tennessee Titans in October for a fifth and sixth round pick along with safety Terrell Edmunds.

Byard made two Pro Bowls and made two first-team All-Pros while playing for the Titans, but was a disappointment for the Eagles.

In 10 games with Eagles, he had just three passes defended and one interception, along with 75 total tackles.
