Eagles Are Moving James Bradberry To Slot Corner Against The Buccaneers

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles will start All-Pro James Bradberry at slot CB tonight vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as per Jordan Schultz.

Expect to see Bradberry frequently matched up with the Buccaneers slot receiver Chris Godwin. The Eagles lost starting slot CB Avonte Maddox Week 2 with a torn pec.

The Eagles were cross-training Bradberry in the slot during training camp. This will now allow the Eagles to match up Bradberry with opposing wide receivers who are getting moved around or athletic All-Pro tight ends.

The is a big move for the Eagles to move an All-Pro like Bradberry from outside CB to the slot. Give a lot of credit to Bradberry for doing what the team needs.
