Dwyane Wade Becomes Minority Owner Of The Utah Jazz, Will Have Active Role With The Team

Written by Will

The Jazz have a new owner and that is former Heat legend Dwyane Wade. This is a random move, never did I think Wade would become a owner for the Jazz but here we are. Wade becomes the latest former NBA star to become a owner of a team. We have Grant Hill with the Hawks, Shaq with the Kings, and of course Michael Jordan being the majority owner of the Hornets. Wade told ESPN “This goes way beyond the dream I had to just play basketball in the NBA, If this partnership is going to be anything like my relationship is with Ryan (Smith), there are going to be a lot of things that I’ll want to be involved in.” Good for Wade, owning any NBA team is a dream for anyone.

Personally, I think this is a move to get Donovan Mitchell out of Utah and to Miami. A inside job some would say. Wade is going to walk into that front office and Trade Mitchell for a second rounder. But in all seriousness this is only gong to get more eyes on the Jazz. Now enjoy some D-Wade highlights.
