Drew Brees says Marshon Lattimore was “cheap-shotted”

Former Saints QB Drew Brees stood on Jourdan Avenue in the Lower Ninth Ward in the bright afternoon sun on a Wednesday was interviewed for a video to be played at a meeting of Lowe’s hardware store managers sometime in the future.

Brees, who retired from the NFL in 2021 after 20 seasons, said he wasn’t sure why cornerback Marshon Lattimore got kicked out of Sunday’s loud game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After all, Lattimore was the one who got “shot cheap,” Brees said.
