USC pulled out a late come from behind win versus ASU, 28-27, as Kedon Slovis hit Drake London with the game winning touchdown with less than 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. This also came right after they converted an onside kick:
The 6-4 Trojan WR finished with an astounding 8 receptions for 125 yards and that TD to win it. What’s really cool is that he is also plays for the USC hoops team as well. London was making big plays all game, especially with yards after the catch as he was bulldozing & hurdling defenders:
Expect a lot of buzz to start circulating about him, as most people will just be learning about who he is. After today he’s definitely one of my new favorite players in all of college pigskin, and it’ll be cool to see what he does on the basketball court.
Overall it was a messy game for the Trojans and it’s clear that Clay Helton is still a joke. They’ll still most likely end up having a mediocre season, as Helton-led teams tend to do. Either way, it’s clear that the Pac-12 is wide open this year.
