Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is under investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department for allegedly hitting a man, as per Local 10 News and confirmed by the department.

Hill allegedly hit a man working at Haulover Marina in Miami on Sunday. The incident took place the same day Hill was on a fishing trip with his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

It has not been reported, if the man was injured. On Monday, Miami-Dade police were seen at the marina and on Tuesday, the department confirmed an investigation was underway involving Hill.

“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL,” a Dolphins spokesperson told the Associated Press. “We will reserve further comment at this time.”

The 29 year-old Hill is entering his second year with the Dolphins after spending six seasons with Kansas City Chiefs. He caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022.

The last time that Hill was under a police investigation was in 2019 while he was still with the Kansas City Chiefs.

In March of that year, two police reports were filed against him for child abuse and neglect by his ex-fiancée Crystal Espinal.
