After making a fool of himself against LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers last postseason, forward Dillion Brooks has a new home with the Houston Rockets. However, he brought his antics with him too.
In tonight’s preseason game against the Indiana Pacers, Brooks got ejected from the game after he was caught punching Packers center Daniel Theis in the groin area as he was getting around a screen.
In the replay/video clip below, you can see Brooks attempt to go around Theis, but gets the cup check to the Indiana center right in front of the referee.
And unsurprisingly, Brooks was promptly ejected from the Rockets’ first preseason game of 2023.
It seems that Brooks has not learned from his antics from last summer. However, the incident that occurred was not because of his mouth. It was his closed fist.
The punch may or may not have been intentional, but past reputation doesn’t bode well for Dillon here; and every NBA fan knows it.
