
Darren McCarty, the enforcer of the Detroit Red Wings, will be the special guest manager of Impact Wrestling’s Rhino on 7/16/20. Rhino will take on Impact’s Mad Man Fulton (with Sami Callihan in his corner) at an Insane Wrestling Revolution show in Monroe, Michigan at the Robert A. Hutchinson FOP Lodge.
Also scheduled to appear on the show so far are Trey, John E. Bravo, Josh Mavado, and Joe Coleman. This will be an outdoor event. McCarty won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008. He retired in 2009.
Rhino (Terrence Gerin) has also been busy in Michigan politics again. He announced his candidacy for the Board of Trustees in Monroe Township where he now lives. He owns Big Daddy’s Boat Yard 69-slip Marina in the Monroe area.
Gerin previously ran for Michigan State Representative in 2016 in Dearborn as Republican losing to Democrat Abdullah Hammoud.
