Detroit Lions LB Jamie Collins To Be Traded Soon! Patriots Reunion?

Written by Robert McCarver

LB Jamie Collins was a healthy out at practice yesterday and news quickly broke that he could be a trade candidate as the team is looking to get rookie LB Derrick Barnes more reps. Well, Head Coach Dan Campbell told the media today that Collins will not be in the building as the team is exploring trades with multiple teams and they hope that this process finishes quickly.

Jamie Collins was a signee of the Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia era which could be the darkest era for Lions fans.

With Collins on the trade block, the obvious destination is New England with his ties there and Bill always bringing back former Patriots who left the nest but need to come home. The other is Cleveland. A position of need for them and with former New England executive, as well as, former Lions GM Bob Quinn being there could mean that they kick the tires on a Patriot desciple.

Sounds like a deal is going to be done relatively soon and it will be intriguing to see what rookie GM Brad Holmes gets back for Collins as this is the first time he would be dealing a player out of town.

Where do you think Collins will be treaded to? Any dark horse candidates? Let us know!
