DeShaun Watson Is Headed To The Commanders in Washington D.C.

Written by Chris Powers

If there was not already enough quarterback drama in the NFL today. First and foremost, Aaron Rodgers signs a 4 year $200M deal with the Green Bay Packers. Then Russell Wilson gets traded to the Denver Broncos just hours later. And that isn’t all of the big news in the past 24 hours. See this tweet below from Adam Schefter.

Some other news that may come as a surprise. DeShaun Watson appears to be heading to Washington D.C. Assuming he is cleared to played in 2022 and is still part of the Houston Texans franchise, the Texans will be playing the Commanders in Washington DC. The date of the game however is yet to be determined.

Since the Commanders missed out on signing Wilson or Rodgers, ideally DC fans would prefer that Watson is on their team as the starting QB when the Commanders do play the Texans. Only time will tell if Watson ends up leaving Houston or not.
