Derek Jeter responds to Carlos Correa’s comments of not deserving any Gold Glove Awards

Derek Jeter responds to Carlos Correa’s comments of not deserving any Gold Glove Awards.

Carlos Correa is known to be a bit difficult to deal with.

Despite being a good baseball player, he’s brash, arrogant and cocky. He’s also good too, which is why he’s considered the top free agent currently in baseball who could get a $300 million deal this winter.

Correa was also quoted to saying that former New York Yankees shortstop and Hall of Famer Derek Jeter didn’t deserve any of the five Gold Glove awards he won in his career.

So when the former Yankees captain and current owner of the Miami Marlins was asked about Correa’s comments, Jeter responded in the only way Jeter knew how to.

Yes. With class. That’s how Derek Jeter was his entire career, and maybe Correa needs to learn a few things from a Hall of Famer on how to actually be a decent person.

There are some things money can’t buy. Class isn’t one of them.
