Denver Broncos cornerback Faion Hicks is reported to have been arrested over the weekend before being hit with three charges.
Hicks is out on bond after falling afoul of the law, with court records showing a third-degree felony charge for carrying a concealed firearm as the most serious of the three filed by police in Hallandale, Florida on Saturday.
Hicks was pulled over by police for failing to obey a stop sign, which accounted for another charge, and has also been accused of driving with an expired license.
No other details pertaining to the arrest have been disclosed.
The 25 year-old Hicks was the Broncos seventh-round draft pick out of Wisconsin last year. He played in two games last year, with all snaps coming on special teams.
