Daryl Morey Eyeing Multiple Trades For 76ers?

Written by Jeffrey Iafrate

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has been reportedly “eyeing” several trades, even before the James Harden rumors. Doc Rivers, who is the head coach of the 76ers went on the Rich Eisen show when he discussed Daryl Morey and his process of finding trades.

“Daryl’s had several trades so far that I’ve said, ‘No, I don’t want to do that,’ and he moves on. That’s the type of relationship you have to have when you have coach and management, I think it works that way.”

It’s interesting that he said several trades, considering the only conversation the team has been discussed involving trades was James Harden. We can only imagine what Daryl Morey is cooking up in the front office, but it’s encouraging that Doc and Daryl can both work collectively.

Who knows if Doc Rivers had a say in declining to send Ben Simmons, Tyrese Maxey and three first round picks for James Harden. Regardless Philadelphia has a good team in place to lead them to success.
