Dallas Mavericks Head Coach Jason Kidd Offers Dirk Nowitzki a 10 Day Contract

NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki in getting forever immortalized tonight in Dallas as his number 41 is being retired.

During the retirement ceremony members of the 2011 championship team are there in attendance and former teammate now head coach of the Mavs’ Jason Kidd offered Dirk a 10 Day contract.

Dirk immediately declined the offer but you cannot blame Kidd for trying. Everyone seems to be getting 10 day contracts as every team in the league is dealing with COVID problems.

It seems as though teams are signing people off of Twitter that you cannot fault Jason for asking a 21 year vet and NBA champ if he had any interest in coming back even if it was for only 10 days.
