The Dallas Cowboys traded for Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore in a deal with the Indianapolis Colts that will send back a fifth-round compensatory pick for the 2023 NFL draft, as per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 33 year-old Gilmore was once a top player, but is past his prime. The Cowboys plan to pair with often toasted CB Trevon Diggs.
In 2022, Gilmore had 66 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass defenses in 16 games for the Indianapolis Colts.
